Setting up a custom icon pack on an Android device
So you want to start customizing your Android phone but aren't sure where to begin? You've arrived at the right place. In this post, I will go over all of the fundamental steps required to transform your phone into something you will enjoy looking at! Check out our icon packs for the best options.
First and foremost. It is usually best to download a custom launcher if you want to use custom icon packs (like Nova, Lawnchair, Niagara, etc.). Some default launchers can use custom icon packs, while others cannot, so I advise using a custom one. Personally, my choice was always Nova or Lawnchair. See our full launcher guide for setup instructions.
- Download the launcher from the Play Store.
- Set it as a default home app.
- On home screen, make a long-press and go to settings.
- Select Theme option.
- Open icon packs and choose your One4Studio icon pack.
- Go back to main settings and choose Desktop.
- Play with icon grid, icon size, and hiding labels for a cleaner look.
- Go back and explore Drawer settings for more customization.
- After you finish, go back to your home screen and enjoy your new setup!
Tip: Don't forget to add some widgets to make it more interesting. All our icon packs come with matching KWGT widgets.
